The Worx 20V Detail Sander is light and compact. Weighing just 1.8 lbs with the battery attached, the WX822L was made for one-handed operation on flat, vertical, and overhead surfaces.
It features a triangular “steam-iron” base that helps get into edges and corners easily. The pointed tip helps out with those spot sanding applications.
The Worx Detail Sander operates at a no-load speed of 12,000 orbits per minute, making 5/64″ ellipses. No two orbits are the same, which should help keep swirl marks to a minimum.
Worx also includes a DustStop micro-filter bag to capture your dust particles. And, if you’ve got access to a vacuum, a 1-1/4″ adapter comes with the sander so you can attach a hose.
Finger Sanding Sans Fingers
The Worx WX822L Detail Sander also includes a finger sanding attachment that screws onto the front of the sander. With it, you can hit all of those tricky areas that you’d normally have to hand sand, like in between chair spindles.
