Tranya Nova is a set of Bluetooth earphones that are making waves in the market with their advanced Qualcomm QCC3072 chip and aptX technology. Powered by the Qualcomm QCC3072 chip and aptX, Tranya Nova offers current-gen audio processing. The chip ensures rich sound across the frequency spectrum, and with aptX, users can enjoy low-latency audio streaming. I’ve been a big proponent of AptX for years as it tends to do a better job rendering streaming audio (supporting 48kHz/16-bit LPCM audio data at up to 352kbps).
Active Noise Cancellation and Bluetooth 5.3
The Hybrid ANC (active noise-canceling) technology in the Tranya Nova earphones can reduce external noise by up to 43dB. This helps on airplanes or when trying to focus or communicate in a busy office. ANC trumps simple passive noise-canceling while providing additional options like Transparency mode.
Bluetooth 5.3 gives these earbuds seamless transition between devices and near-instant pairing. I often swapped between my iPhone 13 Pro Max and an iMac with almost no delay.
Customized Tranya Audio App
The Tranya Audio App lets you customize your audio experience. It includes an EQ with several presets and a custom mode. The default EQ, Flat, gets overridden by the activation of any presets. I actually had to make a new Custom EQ called “Flat” in order to get it back.
You can also use the app to switch between noise-canceling modes. I preferred using a Long Press (which you can configure). In fact, all the controls—from single tap to “quintuple taps” can be customized in the Tranya Audio app.
Tranya Nova Earphones Playback Time
You can get up to 9 hours of playback time with these earphones before needing to charge them using the case. The case gives you a total of 36 hours of total listening time. This makes them a great solution for extended travel. Wireless charging presented no issues, though it charges more slowly. With USB-C, it took around an hour to fully charge the case and earphones. If you find yourself in a pinch, 10 minutes gets you a couple of hours.
Sound Quality
Tranya Nova earphones feature 12 mm dynamic drivers that render a very distinct and well-balanced stereo image. Low frequency was, in fact quite deep. Highs were acceptable, but a tad muted. Adjusting the EQ helped, but in general, I like “Flat” to work accurately and produce a clear midrange and crisp and airy highs.
Comparing them to Apple 2nd-gen AirPods, the Tranya produces a lot more bass—likely due to the better fit. The AirPods, however, sounded much cleaner overall. Highs were simply a tad on the mushy side with the Tranya Nova’s.

Priced at $79.99, these earbuds are designed to provide an immersive listening experience with 36 total hours of wireless playtime.
Conclusion
Overall, the promising Tranya Nova earphones combine cutting-edge technology with user-friendly features. The sound quality could use some improvement—perhaps with a higher-end model—but certainly the sound is acceptable. Given the excellent active noise cancellation of the Nova earphones, you get a competitively-priced solution that bridges the gap between a pair of Apple AirPods and the ANC present in higher-priced products.
The earbuds also include an IPX5 waterproof rating, ultra-low latency for gaming, and wireless charging, making them a well-rounded solution for almost anyone.
