The Veto Tech Pac-1 has 47 pockets situated both inside and outside the pack, giving you tons of room for hand tools, meters, and even cordless drills and drivers. For plumbing and HVAC pros, bulkier items such as manifold gauges and hoses can also be stored within. The backpack also features an innovative quick release handle that gives easy access to the tool bay compartment. The Tech Pac-1 offers dual bays with two tool storage platforms in each bay and the center panel design forms a center main tool storage compartment area that also stabilizes the backpack. Whether you open it on either side or set it down to begin working, the Tech Pac-1 won’t tip over or become unstable.
Veto Tech Pac-1 Backpack Features
We’ve used several Veto Pro Pac professional tool bags, including the Veto OT-XL tool bag and the Veto LT Series tool bags and found them to be incredibly well-built. Recently they introduced their first backpack tool bag, dubbed the Tech Pac 1. Debuted at the 2013 AHR Expo in Dallas, the idea behind the Pac 1 is to enable technicians to safely and comfortably transport a variety of tools when servicing equipment accessible by extension or cage ladders, or simply where you have to walk a bit. The Tech Pac-1, similar to Veto Pro Pac bags, utilizes a sturdy and heavy duty center panel with a stabilizing injection molded waterproof base that keeps tools dry, even in the nastiest of conditions.
To make the Veto Tech Pac-1 backpack comfortable, the company utilized a thermo-formed EVA padded back panel to help cushion the load. The pad also provides structural stability and a padded shoulder strap and ergonomic TPV rubber grip round out the feature set. The Tech Pac-1 is 21.5 inches high, 14 inches long, and about 10 inches wide. The Tech Pac-1 will be available at Veto Pro Pac dealers in the Summer of 2013.
