Ideal Electrical has announced the launch of Ideal Electrical WireMan Linesman’s Pliers. This electrician’s tool is set to be the jump off point of their Made-in-America hand tool program. The new pliers will take advantage of Ideal Electrical’s Smart-Grip technology. This innovation boasts that it will provide electricians with handles that are resistant to perspiration, water, oil and chemicals. The cutting blade design requires 7 percent less hand force to cut wire compared to competitor’s models. Its diamond-pattern, crosshatched nose grabs wire without damage even to fine strands.
According to Nick Shkordoff, Group Vice President and General Manager, “We make the best, ergonomically-designed equipment at the tightest tolerances.” That’s a bold claim considering the other well known US based manufacturer of electrician’s tools, not mention the global competitors out there. Ideal Electrical WireMan Linesman’s Pliers have black oxide frames that have been hot forged. They’ve also been designed for rugged applications. The pliers are manufactured using American steel in the United States. Their flagship manufacturing center is in Colorado Springs and distribution is run through their Sycamore, Illinois facility.

The Ideal Electrical WireMan Linesman’s Pliers are the first of many tools to be introduced under their new hand tool program.
