Bosch is hitting the rotary hammer market hard with the RH540M Combination Hammer and RH540S Spline Combination Hammer. Having fallen behind the competition a bit, these new tools come back in a big way, boasting best in class performance. Delivering 6.1 foot pounds of impact energy, the 540’s are up to 20% stronger than the competition. The two are virtually identical with the exception of the bit system. The “M” model will feature the SDS-Max bit system, while the “S” model will accommodate accessories with a spline or 3/4″ round hex shank.
