The Toro 21565 lawn mower features a powerful 163cc Briggs & Stratton engine, with up to 7.25 ft-lbs of torque.
Toro tells us this mower uses Vortex air intake technology to pull more air into the cutting chamber for better cutting performance. Its “Super Recycler” designation comes from the exceptional cutting capabilities Toro boasts for the 21565, especially on the mulching side.
This self-propelled, rear-wheel drive lawn mower also uses Personal Pace Auto-Drive technology to automatically match your pace while you walk without the need for levers or dials. It has a maximum forward speed of 4 MPH, which is at the high end of the average walking speed for most people.

This mower has a 21-inch cutting width, which Toro recommends for yards 1/2 an acre or less in size. You get cutting heights from 1.25 inches to 4.25 inches, with 9 positions in between.
You can choose from standard bagging, mulching, or side discharge for your grass disposal method. One thing to note is that Toro doesn’t include a discharge chute with this mower, but you can request a free one at the time of registration by visiting Toro’s registration page.
