Vacuworx recently introduced the Vacuworx CM3 Compact Modular Vacuum Lifting System which allows skid steers, track loaders, articulating wheel loaders, and mini excavators to lift concrete slabs, steel plates, and pipe up to 6,600 pounds.
The CM3 features a modular design with a standard mounting plate which does not affect the host machine’s lift capacity as it weighs the same as a standard skid steer bucket. The system is operated by a hydraulically-driven vacuum pump using the auxiliary hydraulics from the host machine. You’ll just need to ensure that your machine has a minimum 10 GPM required with a maximum 3,000 PSI.
With quick-connect hydraulic hoses and a universal mounting plate assembly, the CM3 can be attached to a variety of host machines in a matter of minutes. The all-steel unit is designed to accommodate single or double pad configurations interchangeably.
An adjustable spreader bar for double pads extends from 61- to 85-inches. That’s measured from outside to outside of the seal channels if you’re needing to take a few measurements before diving deeper. Additionally, the unit is equipped with a factory preset flow control valve to ensure optimal performance with any equipment. The CM3 comes with steel legs for storage, which can either be removed or rotated up when the system is in use.
If part of your business involves lifting heavy slabs of concrete, steel plate, pipe or other non-porous workpieces, take a closer look at the Vacuworx CM3. You may find that it’s easier and safer to move material around than the methods you’re currently using.
