Knaack Field Station Gen 2 Boosts Weather Protection and Convenience
You might know Knaack for their jobsite storage solutions. If you have any experience with any Knaack boxes, particularly the Field Stations, you know that they provide rock-solid protection from weather and theft. In a new update, Knaack has redesigned the Field Station from the ground up. The 2.0 version ramps up the convenience factor, as well as protection against inclement weather and theft.

Knaack Field Station Version 2.0
Knaack has built the new Field Station jobsite box to serve as the command central workstation on large jobsites. You can use it for all sorts of applications including storing construction drawings, tools, and equipment.
It comes equipped with Knaack’s proprietary Watchmen IV lock system, which includes dual latching points on the bottom compartment’s door to provide a tight closure that can be locked down with a single padlock.
The Knaack Field Station also protects against weather conditions. It features a three-sided gutter system that channels water away from the upper compartment. The bottom compartment has a sloped door design and internal gutters to keep water from collecting on the edges of the doors or from coming through the lock mechanisms. Both top and bottom compartments come with automotive-grade weather stripping as well.
Convenience Improvements and Transport
The new Knaack Field Station boxes offer more internal storage capacity in addition to a host of new design features that make it more convenient to use. The updated design uses a more durable and smart way to access the top compartment. An independent, spring-loaded, solid lock rod latch system secures the top compartment while a pull handle makes it easier to close.
It also offers adjustable and removable shelves in the lower compartment. A fixed shelf features in the top compartment.
Knaack made the new Field Station easier on transport and onsite storage. Four-way, 7-gauge steel skids let you lift the box from any direction, while recessed side handles let you fit it into spaces true to its width.
Knaack designed the new Field Station for easy crane lifts when outfitted with the optional crane lift accessory, making it the only product in its class built to be moved by crane.
Tough Build
Knaack uses fully arc welded 16/14-gauge steel for the construction. Then they powder coated the whole thing to protect it from corrosion. They’ve backed this product with a 3-year warranty, and it’s available now from Knaack retailers.
