What’s the Big Deal?
The big talking point here is that Milwaukee has upgraded their 70W Radius light, which is a pretty solid area light in its own right considering it helps light up our shop. By almost doubling the wattage to 130W, this new Milwaukee Radius 130w LED Temporary Site Light can reduce the number of lights that OSHA requires you to have on site.
Like the older model, this light features super simple installation and zero maintenance. However, this new Radius light nearly doubles the output to 15,000 lumens. It’s part of the TrueView series – consistent light with an optimized color temperature for a truer representation of colors an detail in the work space.
The new Milwaukee Radius 130w LED Temporary Site Light comes with a 3 ft, 120V power cord, but it also features an integrated wiring terminal. Multiple lights can be wired in series using MC or ROMEX cable, and they accept voltages from 120V to 277V. These lights also feature quick-feed cable retention, which allows you to speed up the installation process.
The new Milwaukee Radius also features a polycarbonate lens design to protect from impact. In drop tests, this site light survives drops up to 9 ft.
The Milwaukee 2156-AC comes with limited lifetime warranty on the LED and a 5-year warranty on the rest of the product. It’s available now, and has an MSRP of $249.
