Milwaukee M18 Right Angle Impact Driver Offers More Reach In Compact Spaces
In the continued expansion of the M18 family, the Milwaukee M18 Right Angle Impact Driver and Right Angle Impact Wrench are set to make their debuts. Users of traditional right angle drivers and wrenches will immediately notice that Milwaukee is the first to offer 2-speed motors for these tools. The 2-Mode Drive Control gives users the option between two speed/torque settings to match the job.
The Milwaukee M18 Right Angle Impact Driver is a 1/2 inch hex driver that accepts 1 inch bits. Combined with a head length of just 1.7 inches, it allows users to work in spaces that a traditional pistol grip driver just won’t fit. The Milwaukee M18 Right Angle Impact Wrench carries some extra torque with its 3/8 inch square with friction ring.
Both the Impact Driver and Wrench feature an extended paddle switch that I really like. The positioning in the middle of the handle allows for multiple grip locations. Users can move their grip higher for fastening applications that you want to get more force behind or lower for when you need to reach tighter areas. The head has 8 points of rotation to improve flexibility when the fastener is in a challenging location.
