The Skil Multivolt tower light features a single LED panel that pivots and swivels up to 270°. This allows you to direct light wherever you need it from a variety of angles. A foot-controlled power switch lets you cycle the brightness settings from 2,500 lumens for maximum light coverage down to 200 lumens for longer runtime.
Skil’s folding design lends itself well to a wide variety of lighting tasks. As a tower light, you can direct the pivoting head straight up to illuminate large areas or downward to cast light directly onto your work surface. This light also works well as an undercarriage light while performing vehicle maintenance or as a ground light while working on your next plumbing project.
In terms of color temperature, this light produces a warmer light tone that is similar to natural sunlight, if not slightly yellow. For us, this is what we tend to prefer from a work light as opposed to a bright white or bluish tint because we can see colors more accurately.

As tower lights go, the Skil LH2500D is very compact and folds out in multiple configurations to fit a variety of needs. The base measures 21-3/4 inches from tip to tail and the telescoping mast extends up to 45 inches. As a bare tool, it weighs an even 5 pounds, and adding a 2.0Ah 12V battery brings the total weight up to 5.6 pounds. If you need a little more runtime, a 4.0Ah 20V battery pushes the overall weight to 6.6 pounds.
Setup with this light is both quick and easy. Simply rotate the base stabilizer arm, extend the telescoping mast to your desired height, and get to work. In an effort to keep the controls simple, this light utilizes a foot control switch. This design eliminates the need to bend over or remove your work gloves to adjust the light settings.

Skil Tower Light Price
The Skil Multivolt Tower Light is set to launch in mid-July at your favorite Skil retailer with a bare tool price of $90. It comes with a standard 3-year warranty but they will extend that to a 5-years if you register your purchase within 30 days.
