Ryobi’s USB Lithium Lineup Grows with 4-in-1 Stapler/Nailer
While Ryobi offers a wide range of nailing/stapling tools, most are on the brand’s popular 18V One+ battery platform. The Ryobi USB Lithium 4-in-1 Stapler/Nailer does a few things differently than the rest of the brand’s lineup. I’m looking at this tool to see what it brings to the table compared to other Ryobi nailing/stapling solutions.

The Ryobi USB Lithium stapler/nailer gives you the ability to drive four different fastener types using the same tool. It can handle various sizes of light-duty, heavy-duty, and round crown staples, as well as 3/8-inch brad nails.
Using the 3.0Ah battery that comes with the kit, Ryobi tells us you can drive up to 600 nails or staples per charge.
Compared to the rest of the brand’s nailing lineup, which mostly consists of 18V models, the FVN51 is much more compact. According to Ryobi, it’s ideal for light-duty nailing/stapling projects, such as furniture upholstery work, installing insulation, fastening chicken wire, and more.

As mentioned above, the Ryobi FVN51K is a more compact and lightweight option than the rest of the brand’s stapling/nailing solutions. It weighs just 1.7 pounds, which reduces fatigue during overhead applications, like hanging lights or other decorations above your head.
An integrated guideline also tells you exactly where your staple or nail will be placed when you pull the trigger.
Finally, there’s an LED battery indicator to let you know when your battery levels are getting low.
