Ryobi’s Forced Air Heater Keeps You Warm Heading Into The Cooler Months
While summer is still in full swing at the time of writing, you can never be too prepared for the inevitable cold. Even here in central Florida, we experience our share of chilly weather during the winter. The Ryobi 18V ONE+ Hybrid Forced Air Propane Heater aims to keep you warm and toasty during those chilly outdoor activities or on the jobsite. Those up north might consider a tool like this a requirement for certain jobsites.
Ryobi 18V Hybrid Forced Air Propane Heater: The Big Deal
Work doesn’t stop during the winter months, so Ryobi designed this heater with enough power for up to 2,500 square feet of enclosed outdoor areas or unconditioned spaces. Of course, you could always point it at you while working outside as well! You have the ability to adjust the power output with the temperature control dial, with variable settings from 30,000 to 60,000 BTU.
Compared to Ryobi’s previous forced air propane heater, this one has more heating capacity. The last one (P3180) achieved up to 15,000 BTU and could house a 1-lb propane tank. This model is designed to connect directly to a 20-lb tank via hose.
Ryobi also gave this heater a hybrid power design to operate the fan and ignitor. You can power it with any Ryobi 18V battery, or plug in an extension cord for long-term use. Additionally, Ryobi tells us that on a full 20 lb propane tank, you can expect up to 12 hours of runtime.
Additional Features
- Durable metal construction
- Top carrying handle
- Electronic, quick-start ignition
- 15-ft hose
Ryobi 18V One+ Hybrid Forced Air Propane Heater Price
This heater will be available starting in October 2022 for a retail price of $149 for the bare tool, which also includes a propane hose and a regulator.
