From our “Don’t Try This at Home” department, Rudi Macaggi performed a ridiculously dangerous stunt on America’s Got Talent that involves a large, oversized circular saw. He was apparently risking his life for the audience’s pleasure overtop the “Circular Saw Of Death”. His act involved balancing himself above the saw on two boards and then dropping towards it before catching himself with his arms on two supports. Howie Mandell apologized for not being able to watch, while Piers joked that he was worried about what would happen to his own career if Rudi accidentally cut off his head. Sharon compared it to watching a horror movie and called him a true entertainer. We just call it… weird.
What we want to know is this: will the show be sued for not forcing him to use SawStop technology in his act?
In any case, this is one stunt we hope NO ONE tries at home and while it’s nice to see power tools represented on the home television, this may not be the kind of thing we’d like to see on national TV should anything go wrong…
