RIDGID shows off how less is more with their new press tool. The Ridgid RP 210-B 18-volt press tool is more than 2 inchs shorter and 25% lighter then the previous compact press tool. This model comes with an incredibly long service interval of 30,000 cycles and an improved 270 degree swiveling jaw and barrel. Merge these features with the dependability of 18V Lithium-Ion batteries and you have a winning combination.
Featuring a user-friendly and ergonomic design, the RIDGID Model RP 210-B press tool weighs 6.4 pounds with the battery. Its ability to rotate the barrel 270-degree along with a flattened top will provide much greater accessibility for users making connections in confined spaces. The RP 210-B also has indicator lights that provide feedback and safety information with an intuitive interface.
The RP 210-B expands the capabilities of previous compact tools to now press 1-1/2″ connections in addition to 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″ and 1-1/4″. The tool features an improved rotating barrel that is fully compatible with existing 100-B jaws. An optimized gear ratio also contributes to better performance at cold temperatures and more presses per charge. An additional benefit is an increased service interval from 20,000 presses to 30,000 presses, which means more up-time on the job site. Batteries for the tool are available in three different amp hour ratings so that a user can have a choice of run times. The RP 210-B replaces the now discontinued compact 100-B as the smallest, most lightweight, battery press tool in the RIDGID product line.
