We love tools, and we give away many to local non-profits whenever possible. Last month, at the Grand Opening of the DeWalt power tool manufacturing facility in Greenfield, Indiana, DeWalt celebrated Veterans Day in a big way. The company donated 70 power tools, hand tools, and accessories to the Greenfield VFW including some of the finest professional corded power tools made right there in Greenfield, IN. We think that’s awesome. To know that DeWalt donates tools to Greenfield VFW members brings a smile to our faces here at Pro Tool Reviews.

DeWalt is committed to hiring veterans and currently employs more than 1,500 former members of the military. The company has additionally pledged to donate a minimum of $1.5 million dollars over three years to the Wounded Warrior Project and to hire 300 U.S. military veterans over the same period.
We’re excited to see DeWalt standing behind our veterans, and it’s fun to be able to report about donation like this as well as to see what the company is doing with the Wounded Warrior Project. Kudos to DeWalt and Merry Christmas to everyone!
