When you think about smart homes and smart appliances, you may not immediately think of a smart water heater. That is, until you see the Bosch Greentherm 9000iSE Smart Water Heater. We got to see this new product at the 2017 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Vegas. With the Bosch Greentherm 9000iSE you can use an app to switch the water heaters on and off. Of course you can do this from your home or even while on vacation. In Hawaii. You can also regulate the water temperature so that you can have extra high heat for high demand applications or more controlled temps for when the kids are showering.
Bosch Greentherm 9000iSE Smart Water Heater
The Greentherm 9000iSE builds on the innovations of the 9900i SER model. That one featured integrated Wi-Fi controls. With the new Greentherm 9000iSE water heater you can also control the status of the boilers. Using your smart phone or tablet, connecting to the water heater is as easy as launching an app. From there you just monitor, adjust, and control.
Greentherm 9000 Series Features
All Greentherm 9000 Series high-efficiency Low NOx Gas Water Heaters are flexible. They allow for complete control of endless hot water at just about any temperature. Like its non-smart counterparts, the Bosch Greentherm 9000iSE offers top-mounted water connections. It also has integrated drain-ports, so isolation valves aren’t needed. Finally, a unique integrated sensor technology auto-calibrates the system for quick and easy installations.
The Bosch 9000iSE delivers endless hot water on demand with configurable temperature controls. This allows it to achieve energy savings beyond any traditional tank-based hot water heater. The Wi-Fi enabled app gives you easy-to-use menus for programming as well as servicing the Bosch Greentherm 9000iSE tankless water heater.
