The Bosch GLL 2-15 Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser expands the company’s line of worksite laser levels. This is a simpler model than the Bosch GLL3-80 360-Degree Line Laser, but it’s also much cheaper. The range on this compact laser is 50 feet, which should be more than adequate for most indoor applications. The Smart Pendulum Leveling System automatically levels up to 4 degrees and alerts users if the laser is out of level. The over molding protects the unit from dust and water. I’ve seen a couple of references to an IP 54 rating on this laser, but Bosch doesn’t specifically mention it on the product page.
I really like that Bosch includes the BM3 Positioning Device with the Bosch GLL 2-15. The BM3 features retractable feet for use on floors, a magnetic base to attach to metal surfaces, and the ability to hang on a nail or screw for wall positioning. You can read our full introduction to the Bosch BM3 Positioning Device. The GLL 2-15 is also compatible with Bosch’s B350 Pole System and BS 150 Compact Tripod.

Online prices are running around $150 when you can find them. Only becoming available last month, they don’t seem to be widespread yet. As usual though, Amazon has it in stock and at the lowest delivered price that I could find.
