Milwaukee Adds Oversized PackOut XL Toolbox to Modular Storage System
We recently got wind of the latest addition to the Milwaukee Packout line: the PackOut XL Toolbox. This oversized toolbox increases capacity from any of the prior boxes and brings larger storage options to the Packout system.
Notable Features
Constructed with impact-resistant polymers, the extra-deep Packout XL toolbox boasts a 100-pound weight capacity. That should make it plenty big enough to hold and protect most of your larger power tools—we’re thinking circular saws, rotary hammers…or lunch for 30 people.
As for durability, the Milwaukee PackOut XL toolbox features reinforced metal corners to withstand harsh jobsite conditions. It also gets the same IP65-rated weather seal to protect those tools, batteries, and accessories from rain, mud, and anything else the jobsite is likely to throw at it.
The Milwaukee Packout XL Toolbox also comes equipped with an interior organization tray. That lets you keep hand tools and other items right on top where you can have easy access to them.
With the addition of the Packout XL Toolbox, Milwaukee now features over 35 unique products in the PackOut Modular System. Normally, I’d make a guess here about what might be next—but with Packout vacuums, lights, tables, and a rolling cart—they’ve actually hit just about everything I can think of.

Pricing and Availability
Milwaukee set the initial launch date for April 2021 with the price coming in right around $99. You should be able to pick up this new toolbox at places like Acme Tools which tends to have them in stock. We think this is a great addition to the line and well worth the money.
For storing larger tools like circular saws and recip saws, a case like this can’t be beat. That goes double when you factor in the maneuverability you have when coupled with the Milwaukee Packout 2-wheel cart.
