Until now, each charger took up a considerable amount of space and arranging six chargers in a row on a wall meant taking up around 4 feet of linear space. The new charger looks to be roughly 11″ x 8″ and comes with integrated hang holes for vertical mounting. We’re hoping the mounting points can be made a little more snug than the standard keyhole models found on their existing chargers. When pulling the batteries out of the charger, it’s not uncommon to dislodge it from the wall. Do that with a device holding 6 Milwaukee M18 batteries and you’re likely to see some damage (if not to the batteries than to whatever is below!) Each battery has its own charge indicator LED that shows the status of the charge on that battery.
Milwaukee M18 Sequential Charger 48-59-1806 Features
The Milwaukee M18 Sequential Charger 48-59-1806 also includes a pass-through power plug so you don’t lose an outlet when you use it in your shop or on the jobsite. Like Milwaukee’s regular M18 chargers, it will fully charge each compact battery in 30 minutes and each extended capacity (XC) battery in 60 minutes. 2.0 Ah batteries take 45 minutes and the XC 4.0 Ah batteries take 90 minutes to charge.
