Light It Up
The Milwaukee Packout Light and Charger looks a little unconventional, but its design lends itself to locking in seamlessly with the rest of your Packout stack. The three lights nest into the side of the unit so that the 2357-20 can stay locked into the stack while still remaining functional.
The independent lights fold out from the base and the heads rotate to provide lighting in whichever direction you need it.
The Milwaukee M18 Packout Light and Charger delivers up to 3,000 lumens of TrueView HD lighting. It features nine modes: All Lights, Main Panel, or Back/Front Lights, along with High, Medium, and Low settings for each.
Milwaukee M18 Packout Light Runtime
For cordless lighting, you can run the light using that M18 battery you just charged. With a 5.0Ah battery, the Milwaukee Packout Light and Charger can run for up to 31 hours (likely using only the smallest of the three lights on the lowest setting).
Even the highest output modes impress. When using just a 5Ah battery pack, you can get 4 hours of continuous runtime with all three lights blaring away at full intensity. Drop them down to Low (1000 lumens) and you get that up to 10 hours.
As a charger, the Packout light also features dual power thanks to its extension cord. That means you can either plug it into a wall outlet or throw a battery into it for cordless convenience. It has an integrated AC input for all-day runtime and simultaneous M18 battery charging.
Included is a 2.1-amp USB port for device charging. It has a gasketed compartment that you can store your phone and other small items in.
The Milwaukee M18 Packout Light and Charger touts similar durability specs to the rest of the Packout lineup with an impact-resistant body and an IP54 rating against dust and water intrusion.
Pricing and Availability
The Milwaukee Packout Light and Charger is planned to hit stores later this Fall. It will come as a bare tool and will retail for $199. The box itself is warrantied for 5 years, while the LEDs carry a lifetime warranty.
