Metabo HPT Adds Another Rotary Hammer To The MultiVolt Roster
Metabo HPT is expanding its MultiVolt rotary hammer lineup to offer another 1 1/8-inch model. We’re taking a look at the Metabo HPT 36V 1 1/8-Inch Rotary Hammer to see how it compares to the brand’s previous iterations.
Metabo HPT 36V 1 1/8-Inch Rotary Hammer Performance
- Model: Metabo HPT DH3628DDQ4
- Maximum speeds of 950 RPM
- Maximum impact rate: 4300 BPM
- Auto-stop lets you set times for repetitive drilling tasks
- Reactive Force Control (RFC) stops rotation in the event of bit overload
- 3 modes: hammer drill, chipper, and drill
This tool’s brushless motor delivers 2.3 ft-lbs of impact energy, 950 RPM, and 4300 BPM to give you high-speed drilling and effective demolition performance. Metabo HPT tells us that the Reactive Force Control also stops the tool’s rotation in the event of an overload to prevent sudden jerks.
Like most rotary hammers, this one offers 3 working modes: Hammer drilling, chipping, and drilling.
