Metabo Introduces Three Cordless and Brushless Recip Saws to Lineup
Metabo has brought three more reciprocating saw models to market, complementing their current line of recip saw options. These additions are all brushless models and promise powerful cutting capacity, longer tool life, and longer run times. Joining the Metabo lineup is the 12V PowerMaxx SSE 12 BL Compact, 18V SSE 18 LTX BL, and the 18V SSE 18 LTX BL Compact Saw.

What Do the Metabo Brushless Recip Saws Bring to the Table?
The PowerMaxx SSE 12 BL Compact and SSE 18 LTX BL Compact Reciprocating Saws both deliver up to 3,000 strokes per minute with a 5/8-inch stroke length. Unique to these compact models, you can insert either a reciprocating saw blade or a T-shank blade.
The compact saws also feature an adjustable shoe and a 180° rotatable blade to help with work in confined spaces. The adjustable shoe lets you set the cutting depth easily, which comes in handy when cutting into walls without running through any unseen wires or pipes.
The full-size 18V SSE LTX BL delivers up to 2,700 strokes per minute with a stroke length of 1-1/4 inches.
All of the Metabo brushless reciprocating saws include a tool-free Quick-change system to make blade changes easy and painless. Integrated LED work lights illuminate your cutting surfaces. Metabo also focused on user comfort with angled soft-grip handles and lightweight designs.
Warranty Information
Like all Metabo tools, the Metabo brushless reciprocating saws all include a 3-year warranty. However, Metabo batteries and chargers also come with a 3-year replacement guarantee.
Pricing and Availability
Metabo authorized dealers have the brushless recip saws as bare tools, but kits come out July 2020. Kits will include the 18V saw, two 5.5Ah batteries, a 5-pack of blades, and a charger. Check out the lineup:
