DeWalt makes a lot of excellent tools, but our DeWalt tool reviews separate the real winners from the run-of-the-mill. From the new DeWalt FlexVolt concrete saw to the excellent DeWalt DWV012 HEPA dust extractor, there’s a lot to like. Our hands-on approach combines in-house scientific testing with real-world usage to determine if tools like the DeWalt Tool Connect hammer drill are anything special. Dewalt Tool Connect is the latest technology from this tool company, but not all DeWalt tools feature it. Their FlexVolt battery technology is second to none with hybrid 20V and 60V applications. DeWalt FlexVolt tools also run longer, faster, and with more power than their 18V tools. DeWalt Tool Reviews with Hands-on Testing The following DeWalt tool reviews endure a combination of trade-specific testing with rugged testing in the PTR Shop. You’ll see that we cover the gamut, from DeWalt hand tools to power tools and outdoor power equipment. For great deals on DeWalt tools check out this page.

We were surprised to learn that this pint sized router packs a punch and does a fantastic job at a wide variety of router tasks. At the end of the day we concluded this is a great woodworking tool.

It might sound like a misnomer to say both heavy-duty and lightweight in the same sentence but this is exactly what DeWalt calls its DW368 Heavy Duty 7-1/4″ Lightweight Circular Saw. This saw has been a mainstay on job sites for many years and for good reason. With a decent set of features, a reasonably cost and plenty of power, many construction workers have chosen this as their sidewinder of choice. While we normally like to review the latest and greatest products that come to market, sometimes is fun to step back and see what the average Joe is using and why.
