The big deal with the Husqvarna LFe 60 LAT compactor is that it’s the brand’s first battery-powered compactor. It runs on a Honda eGX motor and uses a 72V, 10Ah battery as a power source. By utilizing battery power, this machine eliminates the fumes, cost, and maintenance that traditionally comes with gas.
The LFe 60 LAT has a plate width of 13.78 inches. Husqvarna tells us its applications include compacting asphalt and soil. It also features a removable, easy-to-fill water tank that allows you to control the water flow and prevent the bottom plate from sticking to hot asphalt.
This compactor has a weight of 194 pounds. Even with its electric motor and battery, it’s heavier than many of Husqvarna’s other forward plate compactors, ensuring even better compaction results.
