The Hilti AG 500-A18 Cordless Cut-Off Tool is expanding Hilti’s line of powerful cordless tools. The new metal cut-off tool matches the performance and productivity of the corded cut-off tools on the market. The increased performance is due to 5.2 Amp Li-Ion battery and improved electronics, delivering more efficiency and power during cut-off or grinding applications.
The Hilti AG 500-A18 features a brushless motor for more torque and less weight. The new cut-off tool motor claims to have up to three times longer life. Additionally, it features a keyless quick-change flange. For safety purposes the cordless cut-off tool is equipped with an electronic brake that stops the disc within one second plus an active torque control for added user protection.
