8-Gallon Steel Wet/Dry Vac
Perfect for: The Shop Warrior
The smallest of the Hart corded vacuum lineup, the Hart 8-gallon steel wet/dry vacuum combines raw sucking power with convenience. It features a 6 Peak HP motor that delivers a total of 325 air watts. You can insert your own “this vacuum sucks” joke here…but, really, it does.
Large rear wheels and a push handle let you guide this Hart vacuum around the shop effortlessly. It comes with an array of accessories that all store away onboard, along with the hoses. The hose and accessories also feature locking mechanisms so that nothing comes disconnected during use. We lose interest ina. vac if the accessories can’t store onboard—we loved that Hart saw to that with this model.
You can also reverse the direction of the airflow, transitioning this Hart Vacuum into a small blower. It works in a pinch when you just want to blow off a small area or—better yet—inflate a mattress.
Possibly the nicest element of this vacuum, Hart constructed the 8-gallon tank from stainless steel. It looks a lot like models we’ve seen from Stanley, Vacmaster, and Craftsman, but at a far lower price. You can pick up the Hart 8-gallon vacuum from Walmart for just $64. It comes with a 3-year warranty.

Hart 10-Gallon Wet/Dry Vac
Perfect for: Medium-Duty Cleanup and Light Dust Extraction
The next model up, the Hart 20-Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum, features a 6 HP (peak) motor. A balanced handle and durable caster wheels provide stability for easily moving its 16.6 pounds around the jobsite or shop space. With much more horsepower than the 4HP, 8-gallon model above, this vac delivers a lot more suction and works better when you need dust extraction when grinding, sanding, or even running a saw.
Beyond that, you’ll find that this 10-gallon model shares a lot of the same features as the 8-gallon vacuum. It has onboard storage to keep your attachments and hose organized. Handy clips lock attachments securely during use. Like the previous vacuum, this one also features a blowing function.
This Hart 10-gallon vacuum uses a polypropylene tank as opposed to steel and gives you plenty of volume for most tasks.
The Hart 10-Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum retails for $69 and comes with a 3-year warranty.

Hart 16-Gallon Wet/Dry Vac
Perfect for: Heavy-Duty Cleanup and Dust Extraction
For the highest capacity vacuum in the Hart lineup, look to the 16-Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum. It offers a large polypropylene tank and the same 6 HP peak motor that drives the 10-gallon model. It should handle picking up large messes—wet or dry. While you do get more container storage for waste, the 6HP motor doesn’t deliver any more power over the 10-gallon model. That makes this a simple choice between what volume you need. The great thing is that Hart raises the price by less than $20 to give you more space.
You’ll notice that the trend of locking accessories that store onboard continues with this vacuum. You can transition this model into a blower or makeshift inflator when needed.
With a balanced handle and compact-but-sturdy caster wheels, it’s easy to move this 20-lb vacuum around the shop.
You can pick up the Hart 16-gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum for $88. It includes the same great Hart 3-year warranty.

Hart 20V Hand Vacuum
Perfect for: Anyone…Really.
On the other end of the spectrum, Hart Tools also makes handheld vacuums. The Hart 20V Hand Vacuum brings cordless convenience to your smaller cleanups. More for dry messes around the house and garage, this tool pays homage to the “Dustbuster” with a very familiar form factor.
The Hart 20V HPHV01 vac features a compact design. Weighing less than 2 pounds, anyone should find it easy to carry around and use. You get a comfortable textured rubber-overmolded handle and a lock-on switch. If you need to run it for more than a few seconds, that tends to come in handy, reducing hand fatigue. An integrated crevice tool flip down when needed and gets you into tight spots effectively. We like that it doesn’t ever leave the tool—so you have it when you need it.
When the job’s done, you can dump your collected dust in the trash easily via the removable dust cup. The Hart 20V Handheld Vacuum retails for $29.76. While sold only as a bare tool, it does include a pre-filter and a replaceable filter. It also comes with Hart’s 3-year warranty. If you have any cordless 20V Hart Tools, picking up this vacuum seems like an easy recommendation.

Hart 20V Automotive Hand Vac
Perfect for: Touch-up Cleaning Vehicles
Very similar in form and function, the Hart 20V Automotive Hand Vac specializes in detail work with your cars and trucks. This handheld vacuum comes with a 2-foot extension hose for tough-to-reach areas. It also features a lock-on switch and a dust cup that accepts multiple accessories. They even toss in two pleated paper filters for good measure.
The Hart 20V Automotive Hand Vacuum retails for $39, as a bare tool, and comes with a 3-year warranty. At just $10 more than the standard 20V hand vac, you want to decide if you might make good use of the additional accessories and hose before pulling the trigger. Personally, we like the additional cleaning options this version provides.

Hart 20V 2-Gallon Wet/Dry Vac
Perfect for: Truly Portable Wet/Dry Cleaning
Last, but certainly not least, Hart’s answer to portable cordless wet and dry mess cleanup comes via this 2-Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum. You get a flexible 6-foot x 1-1/4 inch hose, utility nozzle, and crevice tool to tackle spills and messes anywhere.
One truly versatile feature we like is the pivoting air inlet. This gives you lots of movement on the hose when cleaning up. It also features convenient onboard accessory storage so you don’t have to worry about losing anything when you move from place to place. We could see this working well for cleaning anything from the back of your SUV to clearing out an AC drain line. When you use it as a wet vac, you just need to remove the filter by rotating it counterclockwise to unlock it and pull it free of the housing.
We call this tool a “slam dunk”. You can pick up the Hart 20V 2-Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum as a bare tool for just $79. That’s a great price for a handy vacuum like this. Like the rest of the Hart Tools lineup, it includes their 3-year warranty.
