Connect and Monitor Your Tools With Festool’s Work App
Your tools have the potential to be more than just a catalyst between you and your workmanship. Festool aims to bridge that gap with the Work App, where you can stay connected to your tools and take advantage of all that they have to offer. We’re looking at the features and connectivity that this app provides to help Festool fans get the most out of their tools.
Festool Work App: Overview
The Festool Work App lets you stay on top of your tools’ overall health. It performs wireless, remote functions like automatic start and software updates. On top of that, you can view operating data in real-time about aspects like battery status and tool performance.
To stay on top of your tools, the Work App shows you the location in which your tool was last connected. We can see this coming in handy, especially for fleets that have multiple tools to keep track of.
Additionally, if you ever need to schedule a repair of your tool, the app makes it easy to arrange maintenance. Simply navigate to the “Service” heading and create a repair order, which gets sent directly to Festool. Just make sure you register your tool first— another thing you can do right on the app.
