Festool Quadrive TPC 18/4 Cordless Hammer Drill: The Big Deal
This tool has four gears for use in a variety of applications. The brushless motor is capable of producing 664 in-lbs of torque in low gear and a smokin’ 3600 RPM in high gear.
- 1st Gear: 0 – 500 RPM
- 2nd Gear: 0 – 800 RPM
- 3rd Gear: 0 – 2350 RPM
- 4th Gear: 0 – 3600 RPM
The Festool Quadrive TPC 18/4 features a kickback stop, which helps to improve your handling of the drill if it gets caught or jammed.
What takes this Festool hammer drill to the next level is the FastFix interface. It sets the table for using any of Festool’s FastFix heads.

Festool Quadrive TPC 18/4 Cordless Hammer Drill Price
The Festool Quadrive TPC 18/4 Cordless Drill retails for $349 for the basic set, which includes the tool, side handle, belt clip, PZ 2 bit, depth rod, Centrotec magnetic bit holder, Centrotec chuck, FastFix keyless chuck, and the Systainer case.
The kit set, which retails for $549, adds on two 4.0 BP Li HPC-ASI battery packs, a rapid charger, and FastFix right angle chuck.
As with all Festool tools, the PDC 18/4 has a 3-year warranty.
