Festool’s CSC SYS 50 Table Saw Lets You Make Cuts Anywhere on the Job

The CSC SYS 50 table saw features a brushless motor that delivers blade speeds up to 6800 RPM. You can make parallel cuts on material up to 11 inches and cross cuts up to 17 3/4 inches.
For angled cuts, you can adjust between -2° to 47°. However, at cutting heights of 35mm, you can even make angled cuts of up to -10°, which Festool tells us is ideal for undercutting infill panels.
One aspect that Festool introduced with the CSC SYS 50 cordless table saw is the digital height adjustment functionality. The brand tells us you can use the display to adjust your blade height within a tenth of a millimeter, which is more accurate than a visual judgment.

Festool designed this table saw to be compact and transportable, even having it fit into a Systainer for storage. It weighs just under 52 pounds, which is relatively lightweight for a table saw, making it easy to move around the shop or jobsite. It also features a wheeled adjustable folding underframe (available in some kit configurations) that allows for even further transportation convenience.
Additionally, this saw is powered by two Festool 18V batteries, making it completely cordless and eliminating the need to mess around with outlets and extension cords.
Where the CSC SYS 50 really stands out is its digital height and angle adjustment display. As we touched on earlier, you can digitally adjust the height and angle at the press of a button. This design also lets you preselect your desired blade speeds and store up to four blade positions via the digital display.

This table saw comes in several configurations, ranging in price from $1499 to $1999, depending on your desired accessories. The top-end kit includes two 18V 5.0Ah batteries and an underframe. Festool backs the tool, batteries, and charger with a 3-year warranty upon registration.
