EGO Power Tools, known for their eco-friendly cordless tools, has released what may be their most innovative product to date. The EGO Bloped is a cordless moped powered by not one, but two 56V cordless leaf blowers.

According to EGO Power Tools, the 56V Bloped can reach speeds of up to 30 miles per hour. It has an operating range of up to 20 miles on a single charge. That time drops significantly when operated for landscaping applications. Powered by a pair of 56V Arclithium batteries, the Bloped can easily handle up to 15º slopes and some of the toughest terrain.
Of course, as with any new product, there have been a few challenges along the way. “We did have a few minor setbacks during the 56V Bloped development,” admitted EGO. “For example, California immediately legalized it for use in the state and purchased 3000 of them for their USPS mail carriers. However, Wyoming outlawed it just as quickly. Overall, we’re still very happy with how it turned out.”
