In the PTR office, everyone has their own gaming chair in lieu of traditional desk chairs. Combined, we have plenty of experience using and reviewing office gaming chairs. One look at the E-Win Champion Upgraded Series gaming chair made me want to test the tides and see what sets it apart from similar chairs. I’m taking the E-Win Champion gaming chair for a spin to see which attributes it carries over from the brand’s previous iterations, and what new features it brings to the table.

E-WIN HEAVY-DUTY GAMING CHAIR FEATURES & BUILD QUALITY
The Champion Upgraded Series gaming chair is a heavy-duty model. It features an improved construction, with a durable carbon steel frame and a temperature- and pressure-sensitive cold-cure foam core.
Its stitching blends together the multi-material surface for a premium look, complemented by the stylish blue eagle design. Even the hub-less casters add to the overall package, gliding seamlessly around my tiled floors.
There are lumbar support controls on either side of the backrest, with the right knob controlling lumbar support protrusion and the left knob controlling lumbar support height.
The armrests attach to the chair magnetically, which at first was concerning. I wondered if they would have a strong enough connection or if they would come loose with pressure. To my delight, I found them to have a very secure connection. You can adjust the height and position of the armrests, with the ability to move them forward/backward, and even tilt them diagonally towards or away from the seat.
This chair has a tilting backrest with a lumbar pillow that adds additional cushioning. Also included is a slow-rebound memory foam headrest that attaches to the chair magnetically. This lets you adjust the placement of the headrest to your comfort level.
Office Gaming Chair Controls
The recline lever allows this chair to tilt back nearly flat. Below the chair are two adjustment levers. The height adjustment lever is on the right side, which activates the pneumatic piston to raise or lower the chair’s height. On the left side, you’ll find the tilt lever that lets you lock and unlock the tilt mechanism.
The hub-less caster wheels continue to use all-metal bearings that deliver a smooth ride over a variety of surfaces.
ASSEMBLING THE E-WIN HEAVY-DUTY GAMING CHAIR
E-Win packages their chairs very nicely, and everything you need for assembly is already in the box. Assembly instructions are clear and concise.
The process for assembly is quite simple. First, you connect the chair’s back to the seat and secure it with the included Allen key and bolts. Next, you attach the caster wheels to the base of the chair. Finally, you connect the seat controls, position the chair on the base, and cover the pneumatic piston with the plastic cover. All that’s left to do is flip it right-side-up and enjoy your new chair!
While it’s entirely possible to put this chair together by yourself, I recommend having someone on stand-by to help with the heavy lifting to make the process even easier.

HOW IT FEELS
In the past, we’ve spent big bucks on regular office chairs, only for them to fall apart or break after just a few years of use. Even if you’re not into gaming, replacing your office chair with a heavy-duty gaming chair makes more sense than one might think. These chairs are specifically tailored to endure hours and hours of continuous use. E-Win’s Champion Upgraded Series, so far, gives the impression that it will live up to that expectation.
The memory foam head pillow is very soft and comfortable, and you can adjust its position thanks to its (hidden) magnetic design. Of course, you can remove it if it gets in the way, but I much prefer the added comfort it brings.
As you might have inferred from this review, I am a fan of this chair, and I think it will make a fine replacement for my old, worn-out office chair.
