Dremel Cordless Ultra-Saw Key Features
The Dremel US20V Ultra-Saw features a 20V max motor, 4-inch abrasive wheels, and a metal guard to deliver precise and easy cutting. The Dremel cordless multi-saw includes multiple cutting wheel options to tackle materials like metal, tile, plastic, stone & masonry, and wood.
An adjustable depth setting lets you cut up to a 3/4-inch depth. That means cutting thicker materials takes some maneuvering, making a reciprocating saw the better choice. For more controlled cuts or sheet goods, however, this saw seems quite useful.
We guess that the Dremel cordless multi-saw gets its name from the fact that you can rotate the tool 90-degrees for use as a surface prep tool. Not only can this saw tackle straight cuts, plunge cuts, and flush cuts, but it can tackle rust, paint, and thinset removal as well.
Similar to how you might use an angle grinder, the US20V Ultra-Saw lets you attach different wheels for various uses. A top-mounted threaded receptacle holds the auxiliary handle. Rotated 90-degrees, the multi-saw looks a lot like a small 4-1/2″ grinder.
Dremel has also given the cordless multi-saw some nice features that increase durability and stability—like a metal foot and guard. The removable auxiliary handle we mentioned earlier also helps when you need it. Dremel also included a paddle switch with a “lock-off” feature.
Lastly, the Dremel US20V Ultra-Saw features a dust extraction port to keep your work area clean.

Keep an eye out also for the US20V-02 as well. This kit adds another battery to the mix for $229.99.
