Harness the Power of the Atom
The DeWalt Atomic Bandsaw runs on the 20V Max platform, but still manages a 6.6-lb bare tool weight. With an integrated guard, the Atomic Bandsaw is designed for one-handed use. This lightweight and compact tool should work particularly well for overhead work in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and metalworking applications.
In addition to a compact size, DeWalt gave the Atomic Bandsaw a brushless motor. It cranks out between 150 and 380 SFPM. A variable speed trigger and speed dial control also let you further dial in the right application speed. It delivers a 1-3/4 inch cutting capacity for cutting smaller-diameter EMT, stainless steel, strut, or all thread.
The saw includes an integrated hang hook (rafter hook) so you can hang the tool on a ladder run, nail, or joist between cuts. Or, if you have the Layard Ready attachment, you an secure the bandsaw to your scaffolding when working at height via the included mounting bracket. Conveniently, DeWalt included an LED work light that illuminates the cut line while you work.
Finally, the DeWalt Atomic Bandsaw comes with Tool Connect compatibility as well. Attaching the optional DeWalt DCE042 chip in the secured slot located near the battery mounting plate lets you manage and track your tool within the Tool Connect app.
