Shifting over to this tool’s design, it draws some comparisons to Milwaukee’s M18 Fuel Belt Sander that was announced in 2022. Like the Team Red version, the DeWalt belt sander includes an auxiliary handle to help with maneuverability. DeWalt opts for a larger 3 x 21-inch belt size, though, which gives you three extra inches of sanding area compared to Milwaukee’s model.
When you need to change your sanding belt, the DCW220B’s quick-release function makes it simple. Plus, you can hook up a DeWalt dust extractor (or any 35mm dust extractor hose) to this tool’s hose adaptor to lock in sawdust before it gets into the air.
