Crescent Bolt Biter Sockets Remove Rusted and Rounded Fasteners
Your standard nut drivers work well when your fastener situation is ideal, but what about when they’re not at their best? The Crescent Bolt Biter Impact Bolt Extractors can reliably remove rusted and rounded-out nuts and bolts, no matter how damaged they are.
What is Crescent Saying About the Bolt Biters?
Removing worn fasteners with standard nut drivers is like trying to pull a round peg through a square hole. The Crescent Bolt Biter accessories are different from anything else because every rounded, worn fastener is different. We listened to pros complain that there was no solution on the market, so we created one. This means no more fighting to remove a worn fastener or sawing the fasteners off and ultimately costing time.

An (Almost) Totally Unique Design
Perhaps you recognize some similarities between the Crescent Bolt Biter Extractors and the Gearwrench Bolt Biter Extractor Sockets. It looks like the Gearwrench design was so wildly popular that Apex Tool Group, the parent company to both Gearwrench and Crescent, took the design and reappropriated it for the tradesman.
The Crescent Bolt Biters feature a tapered flute design. They grip onto any nut or bolt no matter how much damage exists. This bi-directional design lets you either loosen or tighten rusted or ruined hex head fasteners.
Crescent designed the Bolt Biter Extractors specifically for high torque applications. In fact, the brand estimates they will last 50x longer than standard impact-rated bits. A 1/4″ hex shank makes these extractors compatible with impact drivers and drills.
