Wauwatosa, WI – In an effort to appeal to the environmentally conscious crowd, small engine manufacturer Briggs & Stratton has announced the release of their latest product – a diesel jump starter for electric vehicles (EVs).
The new product, named the GreenStart 8000, promises to provide a reliable power source for stranded EV drivers without compromising the environment. “We understand the concerns of electric vehicle owners who worry about running out of juice and being stranded,” said Briggs & Stratton spokesperson, Kelly Green. “The GreenStart 3000 is the perfect solution. It’s efficient, eco-friendly, and best of all, it runs on good ol’ diesel fuel!”

The company indicated the jump starter can provide enough power to start up even the largest EVs. This includes the Tesla Model S and Ford Mustang Mach-E. It comes equipped with a small diesel engine and a battery pack, ensuring that the jump starter is always ready to go when needed.
“It’s a true hybrid product,” said Green. “We’ve taken the best of both worlds—diesel and electric—and combined them into one amazing jump starter.”
The GreenStart 3000 has already received some early criticism, with some EV advocates questioning the environmental benefits of a diesel-powered jump starter. “It’s like putting a band-aid on a broken leg,” said EV enthusiast, Mark Sparks. “We should be focusing on building out more charging infrastructure, not relying on outdated technology.”
Despite the naysayers, Briggs & Stratton remains optimistic about the future of their product. “We’re confident that the GreenStart 3000 will be a game changer,” said Green. “After all, what’s more eco-friendly than a product that helps keep electric vehicles running?”
