Every year at the annual Pipeline event, Milwaukee announces tons of new power tools, accessories, and outdoor power equipment. For the latter category, the brand has several pieces on the docket. I’m going to take a look at all of the new Milwaukee OPE announced at Pipeline 2024 to see what should demand your attention.
New Milwaukee OPE from Pipeline 2024: Chainsaws
M18 Fuel 20-inch Dual-Battery Chainsaw

Milwaukee’s new M18 Fuel Dual-Battery 20-inch Chainsaw generates a gas equivalence of 70cc thanks to its PowerState brushless motor. On a single charge, it delivers up to 60 cuts in 10-inch hardwoods.
This tool features two mower modes: Peak Power Mode and Standard Mode. In Peak Power Mode, it produces power levels of up to 5.8 HP and torque levels of 9.5 Nm. These figures will allow you to make demanding cuts without bogging down. In Standard Mode, this chainsaw reaches up to 4.4HP, which lets you prioritize runtime and temperature while still maximizing performance.
The 2827-22 chainsaw requires two M18 batteries for operation, and Milwaukee specifically optimized it for use with the new M18 Forge XC8.0 batteries.

Milwaukee M18 Fuel Pole Saw w/ Quik-Lok
If you have the Milwaukee M18 Fuel Quik-Lok Power Head, your access to a variety of OPE gear is nearly endless. The brand unveiled several Quik-Lok attachment-capable tools at Pipeline 2024, including the M18 Fuel Quik-Lok Pole Saw. This tool has a 10-inch bar, allowing you to cut high-up branches up to 5 inches in diameter. The Quik-Lok Power Head gives it a max gas equivalence of 31cc to take on demanding hard-to-reach cutting applications.

Milwaukee M18 Fuel String Trimmer w/ Quik-Lok
Like the M18 Quik-Lok Pole Saw, the Quik-Lok String Trimmer achieves gas equivalence of up to 31cc thanks to the Power Head attachment system. We don’t know a ton about this string trimmer at the time of writing, but more info is expected to be revealed in the coming months.

Milwaukee M18 16-inch String Trimmer
The M18 Fuel 16-inch String Trimmer provides up to 31cc gas equivalence thanks to its brushless motor. Milwaukee tells us this new string trimmer has a lighter-weight, balanced design than previous iterations, reducing fatigue and increasing control. It reaches full throttle in under 1 second for more productivity and efficiency on large trimming jobs.

Milwaukee M18 Fuel Short Pole Hedge Trimmer
Milwaukee has several hedge trimmers being announced this year at Pipeline. The first we’re going to cover is the M18 Fuel Short Pole Hedge Trimmer. This tool has a cut capacity of 1 inch with a durable 20-inch double-sided blade. It includes a tip guard to prevent damage to the blade and your working area, as well as a shoulder strap for less fatigue. More info on the M18 Fuel Short Pole Hedge Trimmer is expected to be released in the coming months.

M18 Fuel 24-inch and 30-inch Hedge Trimmers
Milwaukee is also gearing up to release two hedge trimmers on the M18 Fuel platform— a 24-inch model and a 30-inch model.They utilize PowerState brushless motors to cut through branches up to 1 1/4-inch thick. Both sizes feature a rotating handle, double-sided blades, and a sweeper attachment. More information is expected to be released closer to the launch date.

M18 Fuel Pole Articulating Hedge Trimmer
The M18 Fuel Pole Articulating Hedge Trimmer has a 24-inch blade with a 1-inch cut capacity. It features double-sided blades, with a total length of 85 inches to help you trim hard-to-reach shrubs. The articulating mechanism allows for 270° rotation of the blades, with a total of 13 operating positions and 1 storage position. This tool will release in March 2025, by which time we will have more information.

M18 Fuel Extended Pole Articulating Hedge Trimmer
This Milwaukee pole saw is very similar to the last entry, except it features a longer pole to help you trim even more out-of-reach branches and shrubs. It can cut through branches up to 1 inch in thickness, with a 24-inch double-sided blade. The M18 Fuel Extended Pole Hedge Trimmer has a total length of 105 inches, with the ability to turn the blade up to 270°. Like the previous entry, it has 13 operational positions and 1 storage position. It releases in March 2025.

Milwaukee M18 4-Gallon Backpack Sprayer w/ Switchtank
Finally, the last item on our list of the best new Milwaukee OPE from Pipeline 2024 is the M18 4-gallon Backpack Sprayer w/ Switchtank. Milwaukee describes Switchtnk technology as having exceptional pressure control, requiring no manual pumping. It delivers instant, constant, and adjustable pressure for a wide range of applications. Plus, it features an interchangeable tank design that allows you to add on tank assemblies to prevent chemical cross-contamination.
