Ryobi 40V High Performance Edge Batteries
Ryobi has announced it’s bringing tabless cell technology to the 40V lineup with two new High Performance Edge batteries. Like their 18V counterparts, these batteries feature 21700 tabless cells and Intelicell technology to optimize performance for Ryobi 40V power tools and equipment. Tabless batteries deliver more power and longer runtimes, allowing you to push your tools harder in demanding applications. The improved energy transfer of Edge batteries allow them to run up to 25% cooler and live up to 50% longer than standard batteries. They’re compatible with all Ryobi 40V products, and Ryobi backs them with a 3-year warranty.

Ryobi 40V Battery Topper Light
The Ryobi RY40WL01B Battery Topper Light connects directly to a 40V slide-design battery to bring long-lasting illumination wherever you need it. It has 4 brightness settings, with a max brightness level of 1000 lumens. On the lowest setting, this light can stay powered for 11 days straight using a 12.0Ah 40V battery. The RY40CF01 features a 300° rotating head that can also pivot up to 120°, and you can also mount it to 2-by material using the integrated hanging hook. Finally, this light features a USB-C port to allow you to charge your devices on the go.

Ryobi USB Lithium Compact Sprayer
The new Ryobi USB Lithium Compact Sprayer is ideal for plenty of indoor and outdoor spraying applications. You can use it with pesticides, insecticides, cleaning agents, and most other lawn and garden chemicals to care for your home and garden with ease. Ryobi tells us it can spray up to 18 feet, with an adjustable nozzle that lets you switch between stream, mist, and fan settings. It includes a 1/2-liter translucent tank to help you monitor your liquid levels. On a single charge with the included 2.0Ah battery, you can run this sprayer for more than 20 tank fulls per charge.

The most powerful of Ryobi’s new 40V mower lineup is the RY40HPLM02K2 21-inch Self-Propelled Multi-Blade mower. It delivers more power than a 170cc gas mower, reaching full throttle in less than 2 seconds. The big deal about this model is its Cross Cut multi-blade system, which uses a dual-stacked blade design for fewer clumps, better discharge dispersal, and finer clippings. It has dual-active battery ports, letting you utilize two batteries sequentially without stopping your mowing session. Using both kitted 6.0Ah batteries, this mower runs for up to 75 minutes, making it ideal for lawns up to 3/4-acre in size.

Ryobi also tells us it’s ideal for all sealed hard floors, including hardwood, LVP/T, tile, and more.
