Bench Dog Tools has been making some cool tools for woodworking, including featherboards, router tables, custom jigs, push sticks, and more. This week, they introduced something new that I think any tool-guy can appreciate – the Strap-Loc. This is a plastic tool that secures and organizes straps and tie-downs. That means no more spaghetti straps. Strap-Loc wraps, secures and stores lengths of strap from tie-downs, strap clamps, woodworking band clamps and more.
Bench Dog Tools Strap-Loc for Tie-Downs Features
The Bench Dog Tools Strap-Loc for Tie-Downs include an orange plastic body with black rubberized locks that affix them to your tie-down and allow you to roll and secure the straps to them when not in use. It’s a simple design, but one that makes a lot of sense. While good for storing unused straps, it also works to secure extra lengths of strap during use. In this way you can eliminate the flapping and flailing of straps as you drive down the road. If you’re like me, that will save a lot of hassle as I find myself always tucking in and tying off straps to get the extra lengths secured.
The Bench Dog Tools Strap-Loc for Tie-Downs are also reasonably priced and come in sets of two for just $5.99.
The Bench Dog Strap-Loc system is available at woodworking stores throughout the U.S. and Canada. Check out the Bench Dog website for more info.
