Jackets – Brunt Workwear The Roughton Jacket
Constructed with Stretch Canvas material, the Brunt Roughton has a flexible, broken-in feel from the first wear. It features Brunt’s Action Back design that flexes under pressure, allowing for the full range of motion without bunching up as you work. Thanks to a Durable Water-Repellant (DWR) coating, the Roughton can repell rain and snow while wearing lighter than a standard work jacket.
For warmth and storage, there are two side hand pockets, an interior zippered chest pocket, and a hidden tech pocket for your phone. Finally, it features an oversized hood that’s perfect for jobs that require you to wear a hard hat.
The Roughton jacket comes in three colorways: tan, charcoal, and black.

Work Pants – 1620 Workwear Double Knee Utility Pant 2.0
As you may have guessed from their name, the 1620 Workwear Double Knee Utility Pants 2.0 feature heavy-duty, reinforced knees. This design offers extra durability for tradesmen who spend a lot of time on their knees throughout the day, like drywall installers, plumbers, or tilers. These pants even incorporate a stealth knee pad slot, which allows you to add another layer of knee protection.
1620 Workwear constructs these work pants using its proprietary Stretch NYCO fabric. Thanks to a PFC-free DWR coating, they’re also water-repellant. For storage, there are 11 pockets, two hammer loops, and a reinforced knife clip area.

Heated Outerwear – Milwaukee Heated ToughShell Jacket
Heated gear is especially useful for tradesmen who work outdoors during the cold months of the year, and the Milwaukee Heated ToughShell Jacket is one of our top picks for 2024. Featuring Hexon Heat Technology, the heating elements in the jacket’s interior provide near-instant heat-up time. It includes an M12 battery, power source, and USB-C cable for all-day runtime.
This jacket is constructed with durable stretch polyester fabric that doesn’t restrict your movement as you work. It also has a water-repellant DWR outer layer to keep you dry in any weather conditions. You can find it in four colorways: black, navy, red, and gray.

Boots – Timberland Pro Boondock 8-inch BOA
We’re big fans of the BOA Fit System, having reviewed several boots that include it. The Timberland Pro Boondock 8-inch BOA boots do things a little differently, featuring two separate BOA dials—one for the ankle and one for the forefoot. This offers a huge benefit for Pros who need to tighten or loosen their boots throughout the day, giving you tons of fit customizability. The BOA dial cartridges also release under heavy impact to prevent damage and injury, and can be easily reinserted to restore lace functionality.

Area Lighting – Ridgid 18V 360° Area Light
On the safety side, it’s important to have plenty of lighting on the job to prevent accidents that can result in damage or injury. Ridgid’s 18V 360° Area Light delivers up to 2000 lumens of clear white light to your work area. You can set the direction to 360°, 180° front, or 180° rear to customize your light output to your needs. Ridgid estimates up to 18 hours of runtime on the lowest setting using a 6.0Ah 18V battery. It’s also IP54-rated, making it resistant to water and dust, which comes in handy for a variety of indoor and outdoor jobsites.
