Portable Power for All Your Devices
The Milwaukee M18 Top-Off Power Supply provides 175 continuous watts to up to three devices at once. It includes a 120V AC outlet, a USB-C PD port, and a USB-A port. Best of all, you can charge all three devices at once. The Milwaukee power supply provides power without throttling output for each port. Convenient buttons activate and deactivate the USB and 120V outlets.
The Milwaukee M18 Power Supply is also the first to incorporate a USB-C Power Delivery charging port on a power tool battery platform. This type of USB charging works faster than traditional chargers, supplying up to 45W. It charges up to 75% faster on compatible devices than conventional 5W chargers. You’ll just need a USB-C charging cord to take advantage of the speed boost.
Comparing Milwaukee Power Supply Solutions
Here’s how the various Milwaukee Power Supply solutions compare against each other.
Of all the features, the one that impresses us the most has to do with the parallel power delivery. Unlike most multi-port power supplies, the Milwaukee Top-Off maintains full power even when all of the ports and plugs are in use. For example, if you have a laptop, tablet, and phone plugged in—all three devices will charge at full speed. While that drains the battery more quickly—that’s kind of the point.
The Milwaukee M18 Power Supply comes with a metal rafter hook so that you can hang it from carts, lumber, or other jobsite materials. You can set up your charging station, with all of your valuable electronic devices, close at hand instead of having to find a wall outlet somewhere out of sight. It presents a convenience that also helps keep your devices from “walking off” the jobsite.
Battery Options, Pricing, and Availability
Of course, you’ll want to come prepped with the right batteries for all-day charging. While this power supply does work with all Milwaukee M18 batteries, you’ll get more action out of the brand’s higher capacity models. For instance, the top-of-the-line HD12.0 batteries can keep several devices powered up all day, while the slim 2.0Ah packs will likely only be useful for providing power in a pinch or keeping a phone or tablet going strong.
