Ergodyne Thermal Work Gloves Tackle High-Dexterity Winter Tasks

Winter work gloves are great, but they often present you with something of a Catch-22. With them on, your hands stay warm, but you limit your dexterity. Taking them off gives you back your full range of motion and touch, but defeats the purpose of owning gloves in the first place. This winter, the Ergodyne ProFlex Work Gloves try to bridge that gap by offering the trifecta of grip, flexibility, and thermal protection.

Ergodyne ProFlex Winter Work Glove Lineup

Four new PrFlex winter work gloves join the Ergodyne ProFlex line: the 7401, 7501, 7551, and 825WP. Each of them offers a little something different.

The 7401 Lightweight Winter Work Gloves take all the grip and flexibility of Ergodyne’s coated glove line but add a thermal fleece liner. That liner protects against the cold while maintaining dexterity.

The 7501 builds on this model, but adds waterproofing to keep your hands dry.

The 7551 ProFlex Glove still has the Ergodyne grip, thermal fleece liner, and waterproofing, but includes A5 cut resistance to protect your hands from sharp objects. We like that each glove seems to build on the previous. You get to buy what you want, without having to include everything if you don’t need it.

Ergodyne 825WP Two-Piece Gloves

The 825WP gloves take a different approach. This is a two-piece glove that includes a separate, touchscreen-capable liner. That liner lets you remove the insulated glove without having to expose your bare hands to winter chills. It’s an innovative approach to providing thermal protection and allowing for smart-phone or tablet use.

“Heavy thermal work gloves are great so long as they’re on your hands. It’s when you have to take them off to perform higher [dexterity] tasks that you run into issues. By expanding our line to include thermal coated gloves and an insulated two-piece glove, we can keep workers’ hands both warm and safe.”

Additionally, Ergodyne also relaunched the ProFlex 819WP Thermal Waterproof Winter Work Gloves. This next-gen glove features increased insulation and better materials that enhance the grip.
