As far as what you can expect from suction performance, the Festool CT 48 E AC maintains a 137 CFM of airflow. A tapered 36-32mm hose then ensures the volume of air and air velocity stays at peak performance levels.

The vacuum includes a flat filter and Festool’s AutoClean technology. This automatically cycles the filter cleaning action to help ensure the best airflow and suction performance at all times. Plus, with the filter fully integrated with the suction head, the dust extractor fully utilizes its 12.7-gallon tank capacity.

Festool also includes a reducer that fits with any Festool tool with either a 36mm or 27mm port. It also allows for the addition of the Festool Bluetooth Module for tool-triggered Bluetooth operation with compatible products. With that installed, when you pull the trigger on, say, your Festool TSC 55 REB track saw, the extractor fires up to eliminate extraneous debris from hitting the air or cluttering up your workspace.

Equipped for easy mobility, the Festool Dust Extractor comes with swiveling front caster wheels and large rear wheels. A locking brake keeps the extractor in place on any surface, as well as during transport.
