DeWalt is rolling out some new products today. First off the block is their new line of High Impact Demolition Steel Chisels. These are chisels specifically engineered with a dual steel design to minimize breakage and offer optimal durability. The way it works is that the tips have a new optimized geometry that is composed of high wear-resistant steel to help maximize tip strength. Then, the shank features a durable shock-resistant steel which aids in preventing shaft breakage.

What’s particularly interesting about the DeWalt High Impact Demolition Steel Chisels was that the guy in the video claims that in the demo samples they tested, they were able to get around 16 hours of continuous use with these bits. That’s pretty impressive. If you make your money demoing concrete, every tool and time-saving advantage counts, and it looks like DeWalt did their research on these bits.
