Next Generation of Trade Workers Can Benefit From These Scholarship Programs

With the older generation of tradesmen heading toward retirement age, we’re speculating that there will be a big hole to fill for incoming mechanics, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled industries. If you’re looking to join one of these trades in 2025, we’ve come across two scholarship opportunities that provide some unique advantages. I’m going over what each trade school scholarship is offering to qualifying applicants, and how you can apply for these scholarships today!

Sonic Tools Impact Scholarship Program

Instead, the brand is offering a comprehensive set of tools curated for your trade, as well as a toolbox to carry them in. This opportunity is being offered to accredited automotive, aviation, and manufacturing technician programs.

Sonic’s core values can be summarized by the acronym P.A.C.E.— that’s Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Experience. The scholarship is designed to support students who exhibit and exemplify these values.

What’s Being Offered

Sonic is offering 10 scholarships in total—five in June 2025 and five in November 2025— to deserving students.

Automotive students granted the scholarship will take home a 255-piece Basic Automotive Toolset along with a Next S12 XD Toolbox, valued at $8,190.

Aviation students have the opportunity to be granted a 263-piece Aviation Toolset and a Next S9 Toolbox, valued at $7,530.
