A model like this one allows you to tackle a range of tasks. Indeed, the 1650 is ideal for outdoor projects that are away from a power supply—beach structures and playing fields, for example. That said, let’s take a look at the performance and design features behind this tool.

Starting with this model’s power plant, the 1650 runs on the AmpShare by Bosch 2.0Ah battery. (However, it’s capable of handling up to 8.0Ah.) This system is cross-compatible, so you can use these packs with all AmpShare by Bosch tools.
Each of the included compact 2.0Ah batteries can spray up to 350 square feet on a single charge. That’s one full tank (or 1.25 gallons).
According to the manufacturer (Wagner Spray Tech’s subsidiary, Professional Finishing), one of the Titan ControlMax 1650’s standout performance features is its high-efficiency airless technology. Specifically, it produces up to 55% less overspray than traditional airless sprayers.
By producing a softer spray, this unit makes overlap easier, resulting in enhanced control and a consistent finish.

Titan ControlMax 1650 Paint Sprayer Design
The 1650 includes a variable speed control on the right side to fine-tune the flow to the task at hand. A 9-foot hose gives you plenty of reach but doesn’t allow for replacing the spray gun independently. It also doesn’t look like Titan gives you any length options aside from the 9-foot whip. It does let you set the unit down if you don’t require a lot of movement or distance when painting a particular object or structure.
That translates into several ergonomic usage options. For instance, you have the choice of wearing it as a backpack, carrying it, or using it in a stationary capacity.
Finally, Professional Finishing also incorporated onboard storage for spray tips. The unit includes a T2 spray gun and 515 spray tip, which should produce a 10-12″ spray pattern.
