The Masterforce 20V Cordless Mixer Has The Power To Mix Heavy Compounds With Ease
Outside the Midwest, Menards probably isn’t a household name, but they’re the exclusive retailer for Masterforce tools, which definitely should be. Before, their only option was the Masterforce 10-amp corded pistol grip mixer, but they’ve made some big improvements thanks to their advanced 20V battery lineup. Now, we’ve got our hands on the Masterforce 20V Cordless Mixer to see what it has to offer!

Masterforce Cordless Mixer Design Notes
- Model: Masterforce 2410388
- Power Source: Masterforce 20V battery
- Weight: 6.25 lbs. (bare), 8.44 lbs. (with 8.0Ah battery)
As mixers go, I have to say this is one of the more lightweight models we’ve tested. It clocks in at 6.25 pounds as a bare tool and jumps to 8.44 pounds with an 8.0Ah battery.
There are several ways to design a mixer, from a pistol grip style to a more traditional D-handle configuration like we see here. The Masterforce mixer features robust D-handles that offer a very comfortable grip that’s very stable when you’re working. In fact, it reminds me of a modern Formula 1 steering wheel…well, sorta. The grips are covered in a textured rubber overmold and there are hard plastic edge protectors on each corner for added durability.
As we expect on this kind of tool, the 5/8-inch chuck is keyed so you can get a good grip on your mixing paddle. The cast aluminum gear housing helps keep the weight down and efficiently dissipates heat. Additionally, the precision steel gears are extremely durable and built to stand the test of time. Masterforce also includes a chuck key lanyard for easy access.

The Bottom Line
The Masterforce Cordless Mixer is lightweight, powerful, and easy to use. We’re glad they resisted the urge to overcomplicate their design and instead made the setup and controls easy to understand for beginners and Pros alike. Overall, this is a great tool to have on hand when you need to mix anything in a 5-gallon bucket.
