Fein Updates Angle Grinder Lineup with Corded Brushless Models
Fein is one of the leaders in professional-grade power tools, with a roster of specialty equipment under its belt. The brand announced an update to its corded angle grinder lineup with the release of the CG 15 125 BLP Brushless Angle Grinder. We’re looking at what it has to offer metalworkers in terms of performance, design, and variety.

Fein actually offers a few different iterations of the CG 15 125 BLP angle grinder. The normal model achieves speeds of up to 9000 RPM with a power output of up to 1050W. There are two switch types, letting you choose between a thumb switch or a paddle switch (dead man’s switch).
These grinders include a variable speed dial, providing a blade speed range of 3500 to 9000 RPM. Although they are corded tools, they feature brushless motors which ensure protection from ceramic and mineral dusts that can destroy brushed motors. This motor design also provides a longer tool life thanks to fewer wearing parts, as well as less required maintenance.
INOX Stainless Steel CG 15 125 BLP
There’s also a model that Fein describes as ideal for stainless steel finishing, as its speed range of 2800 RPM to 7000 RPM is fine-tuned for that line of work. Like the normal model above, this one comes with either a thumb or paddle (dead man’s) switch.
