Get the Performance of 48 Volts with the Versatility of a 24-Volt Battery with a Greenworks PowerAll Lawn Mower
We talk quite a bit about Greenworks’ Pro 60V line of lawn care equipment, but if you’re looking for an even more versatile platform, the 24V line is where to turn. Greenworks PowerAll 48V lawn mowers use two of the 24V batteries that run an emerging line of power tools along with other yard tools. That 2 x 24V configuration offers much better performance without shifting to a bulky battery.
Greenworks PowerAll 48V Self-Propelled Lawn Mower Models
Greenworks 21-Inch Self Propelled Lawn Mower 2532902
The flagship of the PowerAll 48V mower line is a 21-inch self-propelled lawn mower very similar to what we’ve seen on the 60V line. It uses a brushless motor with a rear-wheel-drive system to make your lawn chores easier and has a turbo button to kick the power up in thicker sections of grass.
This size mower is appropriate for lawns up to 1/2 an acre and the 70-minute runtime can cover that on one charge. The nice thing is that there are four battery ports and they automatically switch over so you can work without interruption. Here are some additional highlights:
- Steel deck construction
- Mulch, bag, or side discharge
- 1 3/8 – 4-inch cutting heights (7 positions)
- 8-inch front wheels and 10-inch rear wheels
- Front LED lights
- Handle folds forward to store the mower vertically
- USB charging port integrated into the batteries
Buying Options
- $499.99 with four 4.0Ah batteries and two dual-port chargers
Greenworks 21-Inch Self Propelled Lawn Mower 2532502
There are two main differences between this and the previous 21-inch model we just discussed. One is the handle. It’s a more traditional steel tube design and doesn’t have the easy-fold point integrated into the handle. The other big change is this one only holds two batteries instead of four.
Plan to tackle lawns up to 1/2 an acre with this mower size. The two 5.0Ah batteries in the kit offer 45-minute runtime that can cover a 1/4-acre homestead in the kind of conditions we have in Florida. Here are some additional highlights:
- Steel deck construction
- Mulch, bag, or side discharge
- 1 3/8 – 4-inch cutting heights (7 positions)
- 8-inch front wheels and 10-inch rear wheels
- Front LED lights
- Handle folds forward to store the mower vertically
- USB charging port integrated into the batteries
Buying Options
- $449.99 with two 5.0Ah batteries and a dual-port charger
Greenworks 20-Inch Self-Propelled Lawn Mower 1313902
Slightly smaller, Greenworks’ PowerAll 48V 20-inch self-propelled mower shares a very similar design to the mower above. In fact, that’s the only material difference in the mower itself. As a kit, the big deal is this model includes a brushless drill driver to get you started on Greenworks’ 24V power tool line.
- Steel deck construction
- Mulch, bag, or side discharge
- 1 3/8 – 4-inch cutting heights (7 positions)
- 8-inch front wheels and 10-inch rear wheels

Greenworks PowerAll 48V Push Lawn Mower Models
Greenworks 20-Inch Push Lawn Mower 2532802
If you like the concept of Greenworks’ top self-propelled mower but prefer to save a little money and get a push version, this one’s for you! The deck is slightly smaller at 20 inches, but it has the same 4-battery capacity with automatic switchover and an easy-folding handle. The kit includes two 4.0Ah batteries and you can expect up to 45 minutes of runtime from them.
Buying Options
- $399.99 with two 4.0Ah batteries and a dual-port charger
Greenworks 20-Inch Push Lawn Mower 1313802
Remove the rear-wheel-drive system and drop the deck size an inch from the above 2532502, and you get Greenworks’ PowerAll 48V 20-inch push mower. While the deck size is the same and is appropriate for lawns up to 1/2 an acre, we generally recommend push mowers for a 1/4-acre or under unless you really value getting your steps in each week. Just like its self-propelled counterpart, Greenworks includes a brushless drill driver in the kit.
- Steel deck construction
- Mulch, bag, or side discharge
- 1 3/8 – 4-inch cutting heights (7 positions)
- 8-inch front wheels and 10-inch rear wheels
- Front LED lights
- Handle folds forward to store the mower vertically
- USB charging port integrated into the batteries
Buying Options
- $399.99 with two 4.0Ah batteries, a dual-port charger, and a brushless drill driver
Greenworks 17-Inch Push Lawn Mower
If you have a smaller lawn or prefer a lighter overall mower, Greenworks’ 17-inch push mower is a great fit. Like many of the smaller mowers we’ve tested, this one has bag and mulch options, but not side discharge. The height range is also a little lower than the larger models in the PowerAll 48V line, topping out at 3 3/8 inches.
- Poly deck construction
- Mulch or bag
- 1 1/8 – 3 3/8-inch cutting heights (6 positions)
- 7-inch front wheels and 8-inch rear wheels
- Handle folds forward to store the mower vertically
- USB charging port integrated into the batteries
